Reviewed by Cozy Cat from SF Bay Area on Sunday, March 2, 2014I really liked the look of this coat.
I read the other reviews and should have paid attention.
The shoulders were narrow for me and the bust was pretty tight.
The lower half of the coat is quite generous.
I normally wear an eight or ten, med to large.

Reviewed by Tamhud from Georgia on Monday, January 20, 2014Nice looking jacket, fits small in shoulders and chest. Sadly, I had to return it.
Reviewed by Miranda from SF Bay Area on Monday, September 23, 2013I purchased the stone color jacket in size M. I'm quite pleased with it. It is well made as can be expected for the price. I have a more athletic build with broader shoulders, a bit of a chest, no real waist. At 5'9" I mostly wear size S or 6-8, though I buy M for coats to have some room for layers underneath; hope that helps to envision sizing. The shoulders could be a bit wider but I can still wear a shirt and a 'thinnish' sweater underneath and most importantly the sleeves are long enough for me! Everything else has some wiggle room but still feels tailored. The coat flares out a bit due to the cut. As with other jackets I own after wearing for a few weeks the fabric usually settles nicely so that is no concern. On the other hand it makes my waist look smaller and I really like the belt less style. It even has an interior pocket. The stone color goes with everything. The jacket feels light on and doesn't wrinkle as far as I can tell. Don't know about water resistance, it's been rather dry here. Overall I expect to enjoy wearing the jacket for many years to come.
Reviewed by MountainView from Boston on Tuesday, May 21, 2013Nicely fitted cut--but the side belts poof out a little; also, the pockets have to be unbuttoned to be used, and they look a little strange unbuttoned. Size "medium" runs a tad small. I'm 5'7", weigh 135 lbs, and size "medium" was just a bit too tight.
