Cole Haan Water-Resistant Trench Jacket (For Women)

Closeouts. Featherlight and water resistant, this Cole Haan trench jacket is the perfect take-along when weather is iffy -- a shapely piece that's beautifully detailed and offers a belted look without the bother of a loose tie belt.

I really liked the look of this coat.
I read the other reviews and should have paid attention.
The shoulders were narrow for me and the bust was pretty tight.
The lower half of the coat is quite generous.
I normally wear an eight or ten, med to large.

Very nice, high quality jacket that will get a lot of wear. Very flattering!

Nice looking jacket, fits small in shoulders and chest. Sadly, I had to return it.

I purchased the stone color jacket in size M. I'm quite pleased with it. It is well made as can be expected for the price. I have a more athletic build with broader shoulders, a bit of a chest, no real waist. At 5'9" I mostly wear size S or 6-8, though I buy M for coats to have some room for layers underneath; hope that helps to envision sizing. The shoulders could be a bit wider but I can still wear a shirt and a 'thinnish' sweater underneath and most importantly the sleeves are long enough for me! Everything else has some wiggle room but still feels tailored. The coat flares out a bit due to the cut. As with other jackets I own after wearing for a few weeks the fabric usually settles nicely so that is no concern. On the other hand it makes my waist look smaller and I really like the belt less style. It even has an interior pocket. The stone color goes with everything. The jacket feels light on and doesn't wrinkle as far as I can tell. Don't know about water resistance, it's been rather dry here. Overall I expect to enjoy wearing the jacket for many years to come.

Nicely fitted cut--but the side belts poof out a little; also, the pockets have to be unbuttoned to be used, and they look a little strange unbuttoned. Size "medium" runs a tad small. I'm 5'7", weigh 135 lbs, and size "medium" was just a bit too tight.
