Shorter cut makes it easier getting into and out of a car but on really cold days, I miss a longer length. I agree that it is a bit roomy in the chest and a bit narrow in the shoulder. Overall though, it's a great coat!

The fit is great, thankfully I got a medium. I am in between a small and a medium. The medium fits just right.
