Bought this tent for my teen age girls for a recent outing to Tioga pass ca, we set up camp in the early afternoon just before the daily thunder showers. They loved it kept them warm and dry . One miner problem, as a light sleeper I wish the walls were sound proof there giggling kept me up all night ;)

This is a great little stove that runs on universally available 16.4 oz propane tanks. It's a bit bulky for space/weight conscious backpackers, but a terrific alternative to specialty tank and white gas models. Convenient, well-designed and reasonably priced....

This worked great. It packed easily on my rear rack, it actually may pack smaller than 20 inches. Set up was fast, and it was fairly comfortable, but very hot at night with the fly on, but you can't expect comfort when your out on the road or trail.

  • Coleman Peak 1 Blaze Solo Tent

    Pros:
Comfortable, Easy To Set Up, Fly Works Well, Great price, Lightweight, Sturdy
    Best Uses:
    Backpacking, Hiking, Mountaineering
    Describe Yourself:
    Avid Adventurer
    Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
This is a great tent for the soloist or just one who prefers to sleep by him\herself. Weighing nearly four pounds, this tent is great for backpackers who prefer that sense of security a tent has to offer at night. Mine has survived fairly harsh conditions such as very heavy rain, strong wind, and light snow while keeping me dry and comfortable. I strongly recommend this tent to anyone who enjoys backpacking. I will probably end up buying another for myself for this awesome price. Thank you [...] Coleman.

This is a great little stove when you have to travel by air and can only get standard propane fuel at your destination. Small enough for backpacking, produces excellent energy, durable. I didn't need the fuel cylinder stand that comes with it.

This stove was supplied in our outfitted trip in the Boundry Waters. With both space and weight being considerations it was wonderful. It quickly folds into a long, thin package. Having two stable, well performing, easily lit burners in the backcountry was really a treat. It was easy to level on less than level ground. The only reason I don't own one is because the fuel cells are not available in our area (Hawai'i) although I have seen them many other places.

Borrowed a friends for what turned into 50 miles in 3 days. First thing I did when I got home was get one for myself. Had two pots of water boiling in no time (one for food the other for cleaning). Easy to operate when totally bonked. Can prepare twice as much H2O in short time. Also great for campground gourmet (spag. and sauce cooked separately on a backpack trip?). Wonder, simple, reliable, multifunctional stove.
