I was out camping this past weekend and I took the lighter with me. It was windy and rainy and the lighter worked like a champ. The only complaint I have with the lighter is that the switch to pop open the cap pushes very easily and pops open the cap.

This is a cool little lighter. The light on the bottom is pretty convenient too! It's not a torch lighter, but it's just fine.

Fails to ingnight flame

Nice lighter, the hinge actually works as a tether to make it easier to find in the mess which is called 'tour packing'. I look forward to really ascertaining how long a refill lasts. This is a lighter with a built in flashlight ... right now that is of marginal use, but it is a great idea. Adventure touring on a M/C is a bit different from normal back packing - bicycle touring. It is back country travel with an attitude, it's almost like traveling with a horse but with less impact on everything except your bottom. I hope this lighter works for this use ...

Bought this to light cigars while golfing. When I first tried it, I thought it was out of fuel. Notice a flame adjustment and put it up all the way. Still did not stay lit, even inside without any wind. Bought some butane. Tried to fill, but it was alread full and would not take more. No wonder they need to unload these on Sierra Trading Post. Not sure what to do now. Return it? I guess so.

The actual lighter works very well but the cap doesn't. The seal that is suppose to make it water resistant prevents the cap from being able to close securely. It closes, but not as easily as I would like. Also this seal is not actually attached to the lighter, it's just a rubber washer basically. I imagine it wouldn't take much for it to fall off and lose it. The flashlight on mine doesn't work. It came broken or it could be the batteries, but the cost of the specific batteries to replace them is more than what I paid for the lighter. All in all, the actual lighter works great and does everything you need it to. Still not a bad deal for the price.

I really like this lighter for the price. Other wind resistant lighters are far more expensive. I hope it holds up to continued wear outdoors.

This is a nice butane refillable lighter with an added bonus of a small LED flashlight. Works great; a little hard to latch the cover shut, but not impossible.

The price was right @ [$]. The cap is kind of a pain to close but so be it! I go on a 10 day trip to a different National Park every year with a group of friends. This lighter will serve me well. We often encounter bad weather and wind.
