Think pad- with a tacky feeling- seems to keep the rug in place fine

Wish I'd gotten this rug pad years ago. We have an oak floor with a wool rug that was always sliding all over the place due to our two dogs. The pad holds the rug firmly in place despite the dogs sliding, wrestling, jumping, etc. And according to the package, it is safe for wood floors.

I'm using these to keep some very slippery cushions on a booth in my kitchen. These work extraordinarily well. Far better than I'd hoped. Great stuff.

I needed to find a way to keep a cloth slip cover on a leather love seat in place. With a puppy who likes to jump on the love seat a slipcover was a must but the one I bought kept sliding around on the leather. This non-slip rug pad did the trick! Now poochie won't wreak the love seat.

These are to replace old worn out pads. Great price.

Purchased this to prevent son's futon mattress from sliding. Doubt it will hold up. Thinner than shelf liners at major discount retailers.

The pad is for a 3' x 5' rug, but the pad itself is only 30" x 50" (not 36" x 60"). My rug was smaller than 3' x 5' so it wasn't a problem, but I feel that the description should contain the actual size, too. It was clearly printed on the packaging.
Aside from that, it seems to work well enough, keeping a rug in place on a hardwood floor.
