Colonial Mills Non-Slip Rug Cushion - 5x8'

I bought this because it was wide enough to cut a non-slip pad for our handtied Turkish Carpet runner. I wanted it to come just to the carpet edge. I cut the exact dimensions along the grid lines of the pad. However, because of the way the pad had been folded and packaged, those grid lines do not run straight with the carpet and the pad curves out beyond the carpet on one side. I'm hoping it will eventually straighten out from lying flat! I don't want to cut it narrower because then it will form a little ridge under the runner (a place for wear).

I read review that it worked well on carpet. It doesn't. But it wasn't worth sending it back.

I bought this product to use under an area rug I have on top of carpet. THe rug movement decreased but the rug still crawls.

Inexpensive, basic rug cushion. If you want a thick cushion with good traction buy a different product. This is a lightweight, thin mat. Works better on our wood floor than on the tile. Inexpensive, so you get what you pay for.

They don't slip on the floors, but the stair treads we put them under slip on the cushions.
