    I purchased some inexpensive stair treads that had a slick back. I used the backing to secure them in place and add some cushioning as well. It was very easy to cut and install and works perfectly. Keeps the treads in place so my older dog can manage the stairs with out falling.

    So far - So good....I was replacing my old braided stair-treads and did NOT want to use nails on them, like the former owners did, which eventually ripped all the rugs from constant use. Sierra had the BEST price [...], so I bought this product. It was easy to work with and seems to be holding up fine. Walked on many times per day by running teenagers!! Happy Customer!!

    I had this product in my last home under my stair treads and it was fantastic. Was very thankful to find that one of my favorite companies sells them since the company I bought them from last time no longer does. Really helps the treads stay in place -- I never have to fear slipping on them.

    I checked with the person who made our stairs before installing these. He felt that, if they were on the stairs constantly, that eventually they would damage the finish. He suggested another product, which we will try to get.

    This kit worked much better than I thought it would. Our stair treads are adhering very well to the wood steps. I can't think of anything that would work better, so I guess it is well worth the price... no more worries about our golden retriever falling down the steps!!

    Needed stair treads to assist aging large dog navigate stairs. I did not think this product would work, but purchased it anyway. LOVE IT! Very easy installation, 1 kit is enough to install 12 treads (I used 26" lengths.) Have had great results. Thank you STP!

    This was very easy to install and has a good adhesive without being too sticky (looks easy to remove if you wanted). Not sure how long it will keep it's sticky-ness on the rug side, but it was worth the price and easy install for now.
