Columbia Aquatooth Water Shoes (For Women)

I bought these shoes to use down at the river and they are the best water shoes I have ever boght. I debated because they are pretty expensive compared to a $3 pair of aqua socks, but they are worth every penny!! They are so comfortable and they fit like a tennis shoe but are much lighter and breatheable and offer great support. Because of this I find myself wearing them for walking and everyday use. I get compliments on them all the time. If I had to pick one con it is that they are a little hard to get on, but at the same time that makes for a secure fit and they don't feel sloppy when you wear them. When I find a good pair of shoes I stick with them and I will buy them again when these ones wear out.

I teach water aerobics 8 hours a week. The only problem is some difficulty getting them on. I have arthritis in my feet and they feel comfortable once on. I've also had double knee replacements so they have good cushioning for jumping in the water.

I work outside as a mail carrier in the desert heat. I like these shoes so much that I have 6 pair!

They work great in and out of the water; traction...do seem to be a bit small..I kept them, but would order a half size bigger next time.

This is a terrific water shoe. It is sturdy, very much like a sneaker, but with plenty of holes in the soles and sides to let water in and out. A very versatile shoe as I can wear them in and out of the water. The color is terrific. I love snorkeling but don't like the coral or sea urchins so these shoes do the trick for me.

I wore the shoes without socks - as I intended to use them river rafting - for a while around my home. After only about 20 minutes walking around, I took off the shoes to find red marks where the material had rubbed against my skin. I returned them because I could foresee blisters in my future if I were to wear them on vacation.

The shoes are cute and they are easy to get on and off, dry quickly. The soles of the shoes are a little thinner than expected. Not good for running, but I walked 5 miles with no problems.

Purchased these shoes for a Hydrorider class - stationary bike in water - they made all the difference - gotta have decent shoes for this activity. These are really nice-looking compared to some of the other choices in this price range. They were a good deal.
