“I purchased these shoes for my trip to Hawaii, something to wear on a hiking/kayaking trip. When I received them, I tried them out by walking around on several shopping trips. After 15 minutes or so, one of the shoes bit into my heel a bit, I ended up buying some thin socks to prevent blisters for my trip. They do not have much in the way of arch support. The bungee cord laces do take some getting used to. It would be nice if the shoe had a collapsible heel. However, it is a stable shoe with great traction and had a comfortable amount of space in the toe box for my wide feet. With a few adjustments, it should be just fine.”
