    Way to large. I wear an XL or size 16 normally. These were huge around the waist on me, at least a full size plus and the leg openings were to flared for me.

    If you are the least bit hippy just forego the Columbia brand altogether. They make pants for women whose hips, stomach and thighs are no more then a half inch difference in measurements.

    Great pants, standard Columbia product. I always have to go a size up with them--either that, I go a size down with everyone else. The pockets on these pants are odd--they're very small. But other than that they're great pants.

    I usually wear an 8 or 10 in bottoms, but knowing that Columbia runs small for me I ordered the 10R in both black and grey. The grey color was really nice, the fabric seemed of good quality, pockets nice & deep and the fit was good. However, the legs were straight - and I mean just about tube-shaped straight. Didn't taper in any way at all. Did nothing for my short, muscular legs - it made me look squat. I sent them back.

    these would be a great pair of pants, but somehow they were sewn in a way that makes the fabric crease and bunch on a diagonal in the back. i kept them because they were such a great price and the texture of the corduroy of so nice. they will make a fine pair of lazy day pants. they also run a bit long - i'm 5'6" and 130lbs and ordered the 8.
