Columbia Footwear Black Rock II Shoes - Suede Slip-Ons (For Women)

I got these mainly for very light hiking and taking the dogs for walks on trails but are good enough to be proper hiking shoes. More attractive than I expected, like the colors (Cordovan - yes, the main color is brown!). Couple of points - they are not really "slip-ons" but have laces. Description doesn't mention but blurb with the shoes says they are waterproof - haven't put that to the test yet but a bonus. The Omni-Grip sole squeaks/squelches when I walk on any paved/floor surface :-). Very comfortable so far and good arch support.

Ordered another pair as I like the comfort of the shoe. Offers support when walking.

These shoes are called slip ons - but they look like lace up? They really do slip on and off easily - a major plus for one that takes their shoes on and off allot. They have good anti-pronation support, great traction and are super comfortable...and were a great deal too!

Wear these everyday: on hikes, working in the garden and ding chores.

using for hiking/day wear. seem great so far, no break-in needed. very lovely colors, great traction and very comfy.

Shoes are good looking, but are standard lace-up walking shoes, not slip-ons as the description states. Quality seems right for price.

Great shoes- comfortable, attractive, and great price. I did think "geranium" would be more pink than red, but it's still a perfect marriage between cute and rugged.

I originally ordered the Cordovan and they were MUCH darker than I expected (very dark brown), so I exchanged them for the mud/geranium (more of a grayish-brown)and they are fabulous. I wear them every day to work, where I am standing/walking/and outdoors a lot and they are very comfortable and lightweight. I have flat feet, so it is hard for me to find shoes that feel good all day, but these are great.

I really like the looks of this shoe and the feel. I haven't had a chance to go on any long hikes yet but next month I'm going to Yellowstone, ask me then how I like them.
