“Great at first but awful after time”

“I bought these boots a few years ago but have only worn them a handful of times (not a lot of snow). The first couple of times I wore them, they were stiff and caused a bruise on my shin but now that they're broken in, they're very comfortable. However, the tread is still like new on the bottom but the rubber on the foot of the boot completely cracked and is peeling away from the boot! Unfortunately, the warranty is only for one year so I will not be able to have them replaced. I would not recommend these boots if you're looking for something to last unless this issue has been addressed with the newer version.”
