I'm just going to reiterate that they ARE the Dickens to get on -and then they feel nice. They really need a tug-on loop - it's a struggle. But I knew it when I bought them because of the reviews so I just laughed through my struggle - and I hope I'll keep laughing each time. On the other hand, they are not hard to take off! That's nice! I like them.

I have a similar pair from a few years ago that I just love and had hoped to replace them with these, but could not even get them on.

I live in southern Oklahoma, really doesn't get terribly cold here until at least January or February, so I really can't rate the warmth yet, but they sure are cute! I'm confident in Columbia's product and have no worries, as they fit and are comfortable.

Even with a zipper, these boots are hard to get in and out of with thick socks on. The top part is also very stiff. I am keeping them becasue they are waterproof and I am hoping that they get softer with use.

Looks better with those who have small feets because they are bulky.

I just needed a warm light wieght boot for winter walking. These appear to fit the bill. They are true to size. They are difficult to get into, thus only 4 stars, but once they are on they are totally comfortable.

I have Raynaud's Syndrome so I easily get frostbit toes and have been looking for a good boot. I love the 400g of Thinsulate. I am size 10 but prefer a larger boot so I can wear my Smartwool socks, so I got a size 10 1/2. It is difficult to get into this boot, especially if you have a high instep as I do, but once inside, the boot feels great and fits well. I'm keeping them and am looking forward to the coming winter! Thanks again, Sierra!
