Columbia Footwear Camden Winter Boots (For Women)

I was hoping these would be pretty and functional, but the black you see around the bottom of the boot are kind of a grainy plastic. The uppers are a quilted boot style. I'm sure these would be warm and functional, but they look too cheap and remind me of the moon boots I had when I was a kid, so I'm returning them. On the plus side, for those of you with ample calves, these will likely fit. Almost no "normal" boots fit mine, and these had room to spare.

The price was unbeatable. the boot is a good length and easy to put on and take off. I brought them this summer so the price would be more to my liking so i haven't been able to truly test them out yet. there is quite a big heel on the boot that i wasn't aware of before i brought them. I'm already 5'9 so i wasn't thrilled but it will do. boots should be able to handle a lot! They also aren't the most stylish but that wasnt my top priority, but they should suffice. I do also get sweaty feet so hopefully these boots will help wick away moisture-which is my top priority!
