These boots are great. I have only wore them a few times. A couple of short hikes and a few longer hikes and they felt great. I didn't "break them in" before I wore them, so I pretty much expected blisters, sore feet, the whole nine. My feet were very comfortable and didnt blister up. They feel very strong and durable, but like I said, I have only used them a handful of times so far. For the price, you cannot go wrong with these Columbia boots.

Nice boot. I have wide feet at the front and I felt no bind. I saw where some rated the arch as high yet I did not feel that at all. I use these for loads up to 30 pounds and brisk pace walking.

Seems to be a pattern with Columbia items, whether it is clothes or shoes, but they seem to constantly run a size smaller than most brands. The boots are outstanding and very comfortable from the first wearing. I ordered these a half size large based on recent Columbia purchases, and I still had to consider returning them for a larger size. Would rate these a bargain at double the price I paid!

I have owned hiking boots for decades and use them for hunting, hiking, and general daily wear. I've also owned lots of Columbia products - this is the first one that was an out and out blatant disappointment. I returned these the day they arrived. Sole was heavy and stiff. Upper was unstable and mooshy and offered no real ankle support. I'll stick with my Danners, thanks. Come on Columbia - get it together!

I purchased these hikers because I am preparing for a summer AT hike. I needed a new pair of lightweight, waterproof hikers..and the price was right. So far, I've done three separate 15+ mile hikes and they have held up well. At first, they felt a little tight around the widest part of my feet, but I worked through that and they seem to be fine now. I have not carried a heavy load, only a daypack..if they keep up like this I will purchase another pair before my summer hike.

I returned the shoes because I realized they would not get used for backpacking as intended.
