“I'd read from other customers that this hiker ran from 1/2 to full size too small. My normal shoe size is 8-1/2 (sometimes 8). Because of the narrow toe cap in many reviews, I took a chance and ordered a size 9. Boy am I glad I did, and what a fantastic product! It's perfect! Little break-in needed (none for initial short walks and modest hikes). Still, I broke it in often in preparation for a major 2-day hike. It's comfy, waterproof (not resistent - proof! I wore it in the rain and stayed dry). Great tread, great support, great quality. I couldn't ask for a better product, and I normally don't buy footwear online. Definitely order 1/2 to full size larger, esp. as you'll be wearing heavier hiking socks. Very highly recommended.”
