“I just returned from walking 198 miles in 14 days. These shoes, combined with Injinji socks, made that possible. I'm no athlete, and I've had issues with chronic foot pain since I was a kid. Everyone was telling me before I left to switch shoes, switch shoes, switch shoes as I walked. The one time I did, I nearly blacked out from pain. One pair of these got me through the entire trip - a crushed limestone trail - without issue. In addition, they aren't hideous, like just about every pair of walking/hiking/running shoes I've seen. It's a nice bonus. They look more like cross-trainers, which means the heel is low. That, in turn, gives stability and doesn't cause you to favor your calves to the point they don't strengthen and to put undue strain on feet and thighs, unlike most shoes designed for walking and running. LOVE these shoes.”
