    I bought these boots for my daughter. We live just south of Lake Ontario and get lots and lots of snow. My daughter does many winter sports and needs good pair of weatherproof boots. She choose these mainly because she liked the style, they're not big and bulky. They're waterproof, warm and have a fair amount of traction and most importantly for her, they look cool. We haven't tried them yet but I trust Columbia for their quality.

    Just got these and tried them on. They feel great and have enough room for a padded insole or othothic. I wear a size 12 and they are roomy enough for winter socks. Some people may want to go down a 1/2 size, but I think they're perfect. The color is more of a light cream, than a winter white in my opinion. I think these will be great this winter! Warm, waterproof and appear to have good traction.
