    Just got these after a 6 inch snowfall in Chicago. Worn them outside twice and no problems with slipping on ice/snow or seepage of water. They could use a little insulation for real cold weather. Perhaps some insulated insoles? Looks like they are winner.

    The blues in these boots are kind of odd. It's hard to explain, but it is almost a purple. And the stripe at the ankle is BRIGHT electric blue. They're comfortable, light, and cheap, so I'll keep them to wear when it snows or when I go on an easy hike, but I doubt I'll wear them any other times.
