Great lightweight hiking shoe but runs narrow in arch area-must wear lightweight socks to use but very comfortable with the lightweight socks. i tested on the first day with a six mile hike in rugged mountain terrain and my feet were still good at the end of the day..

These are very comfortable and good looking. They're a great crossover shoe. Not quite a hiking shoe, but more rugged than a sneaker. They've got a light hiking sole but retain a lightweight upper. The best of both worlds, so to speak. I'm planning to wear them walking in the Alps next spring.I purchased the tan with yellow accents, which was a pleasing light yellow shade. Very good value and seem to be well made.

I loved the look of this shoe, BEFORE I tried it on. It felt great except the toe box was so long it felt abnormal. I've worn shoes like this before and all it does is make me trip. Not good if you are on uneven ground to begin with. I love Columbia shoes though, so I will keep trying other styles.

This shoe requires no breaking in period. I wore it all day the first day, however the sole is somewhat stiff so for scrambling up over rocks I had to be careful that my foot did not slip.

I took them on right out of the box and wore them all day - great fit, no chafing, surprisingly lightweight, very smart looking. I don't know yet how durable they'll be on backcountry trails, but I look forward to trying them out!
