    It seems that ST and most other internet/catalog companies have a real problem offering shoes in specific widths. I ordered these a size larger and they MAY do OK after I wear them and hopefully 'stretch them out' some on the sides. Come'on Columbia and ST - there's ALOT of EE people out there that need shoes!

    Great shoe! I work for the US Army as a Certified Athletic Trainer and I bought these shoes as a comfortable answer for field training and long hikes through rough terrain. They have exceeded my expectations;very comfortable right out of the box. The shoes are a bit narrow, but I have narrow feet so they are great for me. If you have wide feet that would be the only way I wouldnt recommend these shoes to you.

    The 11.5 length seems about right, but there is no way these are Medium in U.S. sizing. More like a European medium, i.e., narrow. It's too bad the rating system doesn't separate shoe quality from sizing, but I think potential buyers need to be forewarned.
