This is a comfortable, lightweight trail shoe. It is well cushioned and supportive. The quick lace (one piece) is good and makes fast adjustment of lace tension easy (though the system on these shoes isn't as flexible as Salomon's). Ventilation is adequate but could be better for summers in my area. The wild "intense red" color that was available when I bought was a plus for me. An excellent shoe for the price if the durability turns out to be satisfactory.

I wear these for running on mixed terrain and hiking trails. Very comfortable and supportive. Only problem is that I like to lace tightly and the metal clip doesn't hold. By the end of a run I can slip them off as if untied.

I love the style on these shoes. After using so many different hiking boots/shoes, I just needed something more flashy and different from the classic brown and red hiking shoes . These guys totally serve the purpose.

Very breathable; no water resistance. Good balance between light and tough. Fit depends on your foot; perfect for my normal feet. Go half size higher.

This pair is a replacement for another pair of Columbia shoes. I loved the other shoes, but they just wore out. I will use these for casual use when walking and traveling. So far they are very comfortable. they are lightweight and have good stability when walking. I feel as if I could probably walk all day comfortably in them. However, the lace getup is a problem. These are loop laces, that tighten by pushing down a catch. The problem comes with the 4-5" of lace left over. If I don't tuck it into the other cross laces, then it will flop around and could cause me to trip. Are these laces supposed to be this way, or am I doing something wrong?

I ordered these shoes with some reluctance after reading the user reviews. I have several pair of Columbia shoes, and love them all. So when I read that some users felt they were too narrow, I was concerned. I tried them on as soon as they arrived. My initial reaction was, "they were right, too tight". Then I adjusted the laces, tried them on again, and they fit much better. I wear them every morning on a two mile walk around our neighborhood. Not a single ache, pain, pinch, or blister. Yes, they are narrower than my other Columbias, but that translates to very firm support across the ball of my foot. I can wear them all day long with total comfort.
