    I had foot surgery that gave me three screws in my big toe joint, making it a taller than an average joint. Also very sensitive to pressure. These shoes are nice for me because they are not very rigid and can adjust pressure well with the laces. The laces are a pull string that needs to be re-tightened every so often. Have only done light day hikes in them while breaking in, planning longer trips.

    After wearing these for an afternoon, I took them on a 3 day trip, wore them constantly. First day for about 15 hours. They felt as good the last day as the first.
