Out on the trail yesterday for the first time with them, and these grab rocks very well and are pretty comfy. At first I thought the sole was a tad too rigid, but it just took a day to wear them in and get the soles flexing.

  • Question “Are these shoes recommended for moderate pronators?”

Asked on 6/2/2011 12:00:00 AM by Climber Girl from Denver, CO
    • Answer The trail running shoes, and most trail shoes, are stability shoes which are generally good for slight overpronators.
Answered on 6/8/2011 12:00:00 AM by Customer Care from Sierra Trading Post
    • Answer Hi Climber Girl! I just got these, and I'd say they are great for the middle-of-the-road to slightly under-pronators. The sole of the heel is wide enough to cushion the impact of first contact, then the shoe rolls you through proper alignment. I have a bad tendency to under-pronate at the end of a run due to past knee and ankle injuries, and these shoes helped prevent me from doing that.|Hope that helps!
