I would recommend these boots to recreational hikers who hike for 3-6 miles on soft terrain. I hike long distances over challenging terrain and the boots are just not sturdy enough or not have sufficient support for my ankles. I can feel the rocks underneath my feet and my ankles have a tendancy to twist in these boots.

I gave the boot a five even though it runs a little small. Because you stated that on the product info, I ordered a half size up and the boot was perfect. The shoe is comfortable and durable for all day hikes.

They look very good! Their sole made with an Omni-Tech® waterproof breathable membrane helps me waling on the slipping ground.

I took the advice of others and ordered a half size up and they fit perfectly! They are comfortable right out of the box and are perfect for hiking!

I am a geology student and I need suitable and affordable footware for all the rugged hiking that I do. I have a collapsed arch and thus have wide feet, and these boots fit my feet perfectly. I ordered size 8.5 while I normally wear a 7.5 to 8. When I wear thick wool socks, my toes pretty much touch the tip of the shoes, so I could have even ordered a 9, but I like it too much to return them for a larger size. I'd recommend ordering one size up if you will be wearing thick socks with these boots. Also, they may feel wide for people with narrow feet.

These are for riding on the motorcycle with incase of rain. They are great just as comfortable as a pair of tennis shoes.

These boots are made for walking- all over! Didn't even need any break-in time- just put em on and getting trecking! Love them!!

I bought these shoes one week before a trip to Idaho and Utah with my triathlete friends. While I am a 'casual adventurer', my friends are avid athletes and quite skilled. These boots allowed me to keep up with them on each and every hike we did in both Idaho and Utah...through rocks, mountains, desert sand dunes, rainy hills, boulders, brush, more mountains and canyons... Almost all of our hikes were 2hrs-6hrs long! My feet never hurt from the shoes at all and I only broke them in for about 2 hrs on the street at home before the trip. Fantastic shoes!
