“Solid boot”

“Finally got to take these out for a little 12 mile hike last weekend and for the first time wearing them, I was very happy. We decided to pack in for a mini trip and the stability while carrying a pack was great. It was a fairly hilly trail and I felt a little slide forward in the boot on the downhill, but about what you would expect from any boot. It was a hot day and the breathability was good and they were simple to take on and off while still providing secure lacing. I really like to high-top ankle support for the trail, but probably wouldn't wear them around town, although they do look nice. Overall great boot for day hikes or lighter trips. I only give it four stars because of lack of versatility, but for day hikes and light trips, it's top notch. Price was pretty good too.”
