Columbia Footwear PFG Tarpon Boat Shoes (For Men)

Purchased these shoes to take a sail boat from St. Thomas to Bonaire in the Caribbean... Bought them cheaply, so if I ruined them on the trip I wouldn't be to upset... However, they exceeded all my expectations. They were very comfortable in the hot Caribbean weather and long treks from various supply stores to the dock were easy on my feet. Once we got under sail, these shoes held up extremely well - especially while taking a beating with salt water, wind, and sun 24/7 for 5 days in the open ocean. Once we made landfall, I rinsed the shoes off with fresh water, let them dry and they looked almost as good as new. I was so impressed with the comfortability, durability, and performance on the boat's wet deck, that I bought a 2nd pair (in a different color) when I got back from my trip. These have since become my favorite shoes (boat, casual, or otherwise) and I highly recommend them, especially for the price!

Love the look, and they are comfortable... A couple of "rubbing spots" but I am still breaking them in and confident they will go away

My husband loves these. He's hard to fit with a small foot and high instep. These are not binding anywhere.

I had a pair of these for a year and wore them to build a house and wore them everyday. I still hav e them and they have lasted well. I just ordered some more from siera - seems to be a great price.

easy on and off

Good shoe at a good price. I have a wide foot so the fact that they're a little wide is great for me!
