VERY comfortable and more lightweight than they appear. Excellent arch support and cushioning. Good traction, not great. I wear a 10M in basically every running shoe: the 10M here is roomy side but definitely NOT slippy or unnatural. Best suited for mixed road/trail, fire roads, groomed trails, etc. Probably not for the uber-technical, minimalist runner (due to cushion/support/bulk). I have purchased 3 pairs, one of which is the waterproof variety. The feel and design of the Omnitech model is slightly different than the base model. VERY happy with this shoe and OUTSTANDING value for the price.

Well made. Love Columbia shoes (remember the discontinued Simba?) Was looking for a rugged trail running shoe, not too minimalist. Firm to stiff last so not really for the road. But could be if you want these traits in your road shoe. Cons for me- too narrow. wear a 9.5 and these were a bit long as well, so running was out. Pros- as these are well made, I decided to use these as my mt. biking/ride to work shoe. I don't use cleats, so the firm/stiff last is great for my biking. cheers.

Comfortable to wear around town. Haven't taken them on a trail yet.

Really like the shoe. You get a lot for the money. I do have very high arches, narrow heel and thin feet but this fits me quite well. would recommend it to a friend to buy. Only downside is that it is not water proof...but then gortex adds to the cost.
