I have plantar fasciitis and need good arch support -- these boots fit the bill! Not sure on waterproof ability on suede-like area -- I used waterproofing spray on mine just to be safe. Good traction on snow -- probably not on ice -- haven't had any yet to try! cozy and warm - love that they are lightweight. Very comfortable. I usually wear an 8-8 1/2 and I ordered a 9 to allow for thick socks and they fit perfectly! Very happy with my purchase!

Bought these boots for my daughter and she loves them. She is a teenager. She wears them daily. They are fashionable and practical. I bought 1/2 a size up from what she wears and they fit great.

Girlfriend felt great trying these on. Can't wait to try them out in the ski resort. Have not tested the waterproofness of the entire boots but the build looks solid enough to keep out water and snow.

The boots are great, SUPER warm. I'm not sure how waterproof they are. I did walk in a snow/rain mixture and they seemeed to be pretty waterproof, but haven't had much use with wet conditions to rate on it. The only problem I have is that the the part of the boot that goes over the top of your foot feels a little too tight. I think I lost circulation to my toes the first time I wore them. The more I wear them, the less this happens, so I'm hoping it's just part of the breaking in process. And maybe they're too small for me, although my toes don't touch the ends, so I don't know. That's just something I noticed. They're more comfortable than they were when I first got them, but they're still noticeably tight.

I am going to ski on a Trikke, not skis, so we will need waterproof snow shoes with traction. These are warm, when I put them on, they fit great. I wear a size 5, bought a six, they are so comfortable, and do not feel big.
Can't wait to use them.

Pros: These boots have great traction and are comfortable to walk in for a long time. I walked through the woods in about 7" of snow and didn't get any water seeping in through the foot. They're definitely snow boots style-wise but are cute enough to wear around town.
Cons: I wouldn't recommend them for snow deeper than 6" or so because they're a bit short and snow can collect on the backs of your legs. I'm skeptical about the warmth rating, too--they're warm, but my toes starting getting cold after 15 minutes of standing outside in weather in the low teens. Then again, my toes get cold really easily. Overall, highly recommended boots.
