Columbia Footwear Silver Creek Shoes (For Men)

The pics make the toe look broader than it is in person (simply giving them a different look than I'd hoped). I've only worn them once and though they feel a bit smaller than I wanted, the sole conforms to your foot, making them quite comfortable. Next time, I would probably consider a half size up, and drop a memory foam insole in them.

Good compromise shoe. Simple & casual for khakis and jeans. Neater than a sneaker or outdoor shoe, but almost as comfortable. Not too rugged, but solid enough to take a little scuffing. Great for travel or school. Feels a little narrow. I ordered a half-size larger than normal, and the width feels good, but they are just slightly long. Great bargain at the closeout price. I have always been happy with Columbia as a middle brand -- not cheap and flimsy, but not high performace or high dollar.

These shoes are more comfortable everytime I wear them, but it has taken some uncomfortable days to get to this point. The back of the shoe pinches my achilles tendon, but that too gets better with each wearing. In future days the shoes will probably be at 4 star rating, but we're are not there yet (and I have had the shoes for several months).

I like them very much. Color is darker than the picture but still very good looking. Only con is the laces, kinda too thick and easily loose themselves.

Quality construction and excellent fit make this shoe a must have for someone on their feet all day.

Nice looking and appears durable, it just didn't come in my size. I would have bought 8-1/2 had it been available.
