Columbia Footwear Snow Play Winter Boots - Insulated (For Youth)

I bought the boots for my son, thinking the boots were a medium blue color and they turned out to be a sky blue...

Having been a pro guide for years, it is tantamount that my children have the same quality gear to play in that I did!! My daughter loves the warmth that comes with the waterproofing of these boots . . . . 5 stars from me!!

The foot bed is very wide if you have narrow feet, but an overall great boot. Keeps feet wonderfully warm and dry.

Excellent for my picky, fashionista of a daughter. She loved them immediately and wears them constantly. For me, I like them because they are well made and easy for her to slip on and off

While she hasn't had a chance to test their warmth yet, my daughter really likes the way these boots look and feel. She is very happy.

My daughter loves these new boots. They slip on and off very easily and she loves the style and light weight. However, to accompliah this, Columbia has opened the seam in the back of the boot, for about 3" from the top. There is no inside flap which overlaps this opening, to prevent snow and cold from getting inside. Since these boots are not so high to begin with, I am concerned that snow will easily get into the slot in the back during winter play. Time will tell. My daughter wants to keep them, and that is OK with me, but I caution parents that if you want a boot that seals out cold and snow, this isn't it. If you want a casual boot that can fill in as a winter play boot, this boot might work just fine.

Great boots. My granddaughter loves them.

I bought these for my 8 year old daughter to wear outside at recess. She needs a light boot that she can run in and play in.
