“These shoes served me well on a float trip down the Middle Fork of the Salmon River in Idaho.
They were comfortable and allowed water to drain in and out.
They were good stepping on rocks, etc. in the river bed and on dry land.
I found loosening the laces almost impossible especially when there was any sand in the mechanism. I had to pull them loose one side at a time.
The crushable backs were good when I needed to slide them on quickly.”
