Columbia Footwear Zeal Sneakers (For Women)

Not a running shoe but very comfortable for everyday. I wish the blue and white were still available in my size. Good breathability for hot days.

I picked this shoe because another customer reviewed it as flexible. Most walking and running type shoes these days do not allow your foot to bend--the arch is rigid and often the whole sole is rigid. That makes my feet hurt--they need to move and flex. It is tough to find shoes I can wear all day. These shoes are perfect for that. They are lightweight and breathable, and very flexible. The knobby sole has traction and serves to cushion very well. They are too lightweight to be running, workout, or hiking shoes, but are great as all-around daytime shoes and cute enough to wear as casual shoes everywhere. I took them to Maui and wore them shopping, sightseeing, everywhere (sandals can be too much sun on the tops of my feet). They were great. They hit a bit higher on my ankle than, say, Keds or Sperry sneakers, but not uncomfortable. Colors seem to be accurate.

This is the second pair of shoes I've bought from Sierra. I have special requirements living outside the US and customer service was very helpful and efficient. Both pairs fit perfectly. These are comfortable and exactly what I wanted for agility training & competitions. I will buy a second pair to have in reserve.

they stretch so great for people with bunions

I wanted a flat-soled, flexible shoe that would not constrict my toes and would be cool in the summer. These shoes turned out to exactly meet my specifications. These would not be good shoes for somebody looking for a lot of high-tech cushioning or specialization for running. But since I was looking to AVOID those things, these shoes work perfectly. I LOVE them, and get lots of compliments on their style too.

This is a terrific lightweight sneaker. Provides ample support without the weight.

Please tell make that it needs more suppot and grip its like you have a slipper that to big on.
