    They got rid of the rubberized buttons that were impossible to use with one hand. Also eliminated the collar hold downs which was not so good.

    Really nice shirt at a great price. I am about 6'4" 245lbs so the size worked well. I have used these shirts for some punishing hiking and they clean super easy. Can't get a crisp startched look due to button covers getting "shiny" but even with only a wash and a hanger it comes out just fine for many occasions outside of hiking.

    When hiking in cool weather or when you're really worried about sun exposure, this is a great shirt. The material is lightwieght, breathable and also has well placed mesh vents. The vents in back of the sleeves work even when you're wearing a pack. A big plus for me was that the pockets are large enough for my reading glasses.

    I use Silver Ridge shirts for everything. They are light weight nylon without having to wear "fishing shirts" and all the pockets that go with them. They have two pockets which is all I need. They are snug, but not objectionably so. This is the only casual, do anything shirt for me.
