Reviewed by mangascolorado from florida on Thursday, September 26, 2013Great compact bag, as you would expect from 800 fill. The reflective lining is a little shiny--kind of like your own personal disco ball. Not something I look for in a sleeping bag, but certainly amusing. The zipper gets stuck more than we'd like--could have some taping details on the zipper to help with that. Otherwise a great bag.
Reviewed by LN 4 travel from Utah on Wednesday, September 25, 2013I was very pleased with the overall performance of this bag. Had planned 5 days backpacking but ended up car-camping because of weather. The bag kept me warm and dry in cold wet conditions. The only improvement would be slightly more compessibility but that is a small price to pay for the bag's comfort .I move a lot when I sleep and this bag was roomy enough not to get claustrphobic.
Reviewed by Motorcycle Mama from Washington on Thursday, August 22, 2013We haven't used them in cool weather yet, but they do seem like they are going to be really cozy. We will be using them on a motorcycle trip, so needed to have them pack really small, which they do. I only wish a compression bag would have been included along with the stuff back and storage bag. I believe it is listed in the specs.
Reviewed by Idos from Texas on Sunday, May 5, 2013I haven't had the chance to test the bag out yet (though it looks/feels great) but I wanted to post this for anyone considering it: despite the description it does NOT come with a compression sack. It comes with a large stuff sack (no compression straps) and a very large storage sack.
I find this very odd because you would expect a bag that retails for $500 dollars to come with one...
STP customer service was unhelpful in this respect since they did not fix the issue (they did offer to send separate straps, which aren't a very good substitute).
Reviewed by kiramau from California on Saturday, March 16, 2013Totally in love with this bag! Fits perfectly, fluffs up loftily, and great features inside and out.
Question & Answer
It comes with a mesh storage bag.
In its stuff sack it is 538 cu. in. or 8.8 liters. With a compression sack it may compress some more. However it is a synthetic insulated bag which normally do not compress much like a down bag would.
Correction, the bag is 800 fill down per the product desription. Source: Product's website
"800 fill goose down with 90% down/10% feather"
“The specs for shoulder/hip/foot girth are completely different from those listed on the Columbia site(as in 10 inches different on the shoulders, my area of concern). Can you confirm that the number you list are correct?”
The LH (left Hand) is the side the Zipper is on. Most sleeping bags come either RH (right hand) of LH (left hand). This is a regular length sleeping bag.
