Columbia Sportswear Alco Creek Shirt - Short Sleeve (For Men)

I bought this shirt for the summer holidays (beach, cycling and strolling through cities). It looks great and fits well for warm weather.

Be great to see Sierra do a little bit better pricing on Columbia throughout the year during our economic challenging times.

Good shirt to wear for the casual office setting. The shirt has a little tighter cut so it can be very flattering. Very light weight.

Do not buy this subbrand of Columbia sportswear. [...] The best fit for Americans are Salmon and Foley (Columbia Sprotswear). But they dont' have new design for long time now. I would like your company get more those two brands.

What is up with Columbia and their shirt lengths? Do they think everyone is 6'4"?? This is the second short sleeve button-up Columbia shirt that I have bought that is at least 3 inches too long. I kept checking the tag on the first one to make sure it wasn't a Tall! Both shirts are great and I really like them but there is no reason for them to be so long. They are very comfortable otherwise so I am considering having them hemmed by a local tailor, but that shouldn't be necessary for someone with average proportions like myself.

Made in Cambodia, the stitching is high quality (double lines of stitches all over, buttons properly stitched, etc). But the cut of the shirt is too close to my body (a contoured or tapered fit). The description did not make that clear.
