Columbia Sportswear Alderdale II Pants (For Women)

These pants fit everywhere except the waist. It was very, very small. Way out of proportion to hips and legs. I'd need at least two sizes larger to maybe button the waist. The hips and legs would surely flop around like clown pants. I have a lot of Columbia clothing. Size 8 pants fit like a glove. Something went wrong with these. I threw mine in the clothes donation box.

Yes! These are truly gorgeous casual pants. The fabric and construction are fine quality - I know, I inspected them thoroughly. They ~feel~ good! I also loved the extra long length. Though I'm only 5'7, I have legs to my ears. Finding pants that go to even the tops of my shoes is a challenge, but these go there and allow for some vertical shrinkage. The only problem for me with these is the same problem I face with many women's pants; the waist gaps in back. My waist is 28", my hips 38", and the 8L fits like a glove everywhere with the exception of about a double-thickness-pinched 1 1/2" section of waistband fabric in back. I haven't washed them yet, so hopefully they'll still fit afterward. I LIVE in yoga pants and the like, and anything that deviates too far from that falls into the "ugh" category - stuff I hang in the verrrry back of the closet that never even gets seen, let alone pulled out. These pants have earned a place in the more accessible area of my closet. ;o)

Wear to church and when going out for casual dinner etc. Solicits compliments. Great wearing clothes. Both my husband and I wear Columbia clothing!!!!!!! I am a small 70 year-old so waists are often loose and length a tad to long. Thanks for asking

Nice pants though long, it's okay since tabs can shorten to perfect length.

Bought these to work in as a nurse. Rolled down they would be too long but rolled up they are just right. Nice smooth finish. I wore them sailing and they were great.

Great pants; they're a bit long for my petite size but fit great when cuffed and buttoned.

I love these easy care pants. Just take them out of the dryer promptly, give them a shake, and wear them.I bought a few pairs because well we all know how it goes with white.I did not have a stain that did not wash out easily.

Comfortable for driving long distances. Wonderful storage pockets. Perfect length which is also adjustable. Quality is always there if you buy Columbia!
