Good, practical hunting coat at a great price. Perfect for fall bird hunts but also a good around cut for outdoor use.

This is a great coat to leave in your truck or keep by the door. Very comfortable and has room for a sweater underneath. Collar is smooth and doesn't rub the neck. A coat that every man should own. It is great for just about anywhere except for dressy occasions. Keeps the wind out if you layer with a sweater or wool shirt.

It could only be better with a synthetic or wool liner instead of cotton flannel.

Excellent coat for the warm Aussie winter where a big coat just isn't needed . Great for hunting or dog training with plenty of room for all the gear . Would probably be ok in light showers or drizzle - but not to much more . Perfect coat for what it was designed to do .

fall everyday jacket

An excellent jacket from a quality brand name. Although some reviewers have criticised the relatively small game pocket of this jacket I haven't found it to be a problem. I found the blood leakage a bigger problem at first but solved that with tape and a plastic bag. The jacket is sized right for layering or simply wearing a comfortable sweater or sweatshirt to fight off the occasional cold winds in south Texas. This is a replacement of the same jacket (the new puppy really loved the first one).

I loved this coat, however, it was just a bit too big (for me) and I didn't want to chance washing it to see if I could shrink it because it's such a gorgeous coat. [...] I went ahead and returned so that someone else could benefit from this great deal.

STP provides good value at closeout prices. the markup and margins are exhorbitant at name brand stores. STP still makes a good profit with close out prices.
