Columbia Sportswear Alpine Adventure Dog Coat - Waterproof Soft Shell

Love this jacket for my two dogs. I have bought them several jackets and these ones are my favorite. I like this jacket so much I bought 2 for each dog. I like the side zipper makes it easy to take the jacket on and off. I also like it because it doesn't come undone. I have problems with the jackets that velcro on the bottom. They always seem to come undone and get full of snow. Don't have this problem at all with this jacket.

Actually bought two of these jackets one for my golden, and one for the border collie.. The large seems to fit like a medium..So needless to say that one goes to the Bichon.. and he loves it really like the zipper on back for a harness..

Excellent materials, design, construction. Fits well & comfortably. Easy to put on & take off. Light weight but warm. Stays on; dog can't wiggle out of it like some sweaters, due to zipper construction vs velcro.

In have two corgis who, though fit and trim, always end a damp walk with a muddy undercarriage. Size: A medium soft shell is the perfect solution for the female. The male has a deeper chest and thicker neck which makes the medium too tight. He swims in the large. A little stretch panel would help heaps. Design: The top of the leg holes are restrictive. Stretch panel? Putting the soft shell on and taking it off is awkward. Zipper connecting and zipper pulling are finicky even in a warm house with a patient dog. Bottom line: If his coat fits though all the downsides are worth the trouble.

My dog is from Hawaii. He hates being cold and wet. Easy to put on. Covers his deep chest and stomach area well; keeps my large, short haired, cold-sensitive, Rhodesian Ridgeback-Pit Bull Mix warm and dry. Purchased two; 1 Red, 1 Yellow-green. Clean, elegantly tailored design that follows contours of dog's body shape (doesn't look like a horse blanket). Highly visible with reflective touches. Among my dog's collection of more than two dozen coats, these are the best looking ones. Material feels like that used for my high end soft shell waterproof ski jacket. Great quality, no chafe, excellent design. Very low price for the exceptional quality. A real dog lover designed this coat, it looks so good on and serves its purposes so well.[...]

Great for rain, fabric Breathes yet it is water repellant. The zipper is also water repellant and the fabric is light weight. Very sporty, and easy to put on, as zipper is on the side between shoulder and legs. The legs slip on first. Zipper is snug at neck but does not need to be zipped all the way as this coat has strech in the material and holds well. My dog a Shiba Inu has a very very thick neck.

Finally a well made, well designed dog coat that is functional, practical, comfortable (apparently), and easy to put on.

everything went without a hitch and it arrived quickly.

My dogs Tashi & Mason love the soft lining and the waterproof outershell, they can move freely about outdoors and stay dry in the process. Thank you!

Very sleek looking, waterproof jacket. Not built for warmth, but good for keeping the dog dry. My dogs are a bit on the chunky side, so the jackets fit them like a neoprene dive suit. This restricted some movement. Other than the sizing, I really like the coats.
