Columbia Sportswear Alpine Lake Jacket - Windbreaker (For Women)

I bought this for travel in tropical wet weather. Haven't used it yet, so can't answer the above evaluations.

I bought this to wear under my mesh motorcycle jacket on days that are slighly breezy and cool, but don't require a thinsulate liner. This product meets my needs perfectly. The fact that it is form-fitting actually works better for me than if it was looser. Also love the color.

I really like the feel of this jacket but it was too snug for me. I ordered a Large (12-14)[...]

It is spring here and I wear it almost everywhere. Walk the dog, go shopping, out to a casual dinner.

This jacket is really light and comfortable. It adds just enough warmth to be a great layer when it's just a little chilly, without adding bulk or being too hot. It doesn't feel or sound plasticy, so I am even happy to keep it on indoors if it's a little cold. I got it as a light windbreaker for when I ride my bike, or to just wear around town. I am really pleased. I bought it one size larger since I heard they ran small and that worked out great.

Initially I loved the color of this jacket...tried it on...zipped fine, but couldnt love it. Couldnt figure out why...the fit just wasnt right. Then I realized the darting was way above my chest! I tryed on a different bra, thinking maybe I was sagging a bit...but no...the darts just didnt hit right. Im a 38C. Sad to have to send it back...the color is gorgious.

Miami weather can be rainy and cool with high humidity jacket is perfect. When the weather turns a bit cooler, I layer the jacket with silk undergarments perfect.

I was expected to get a regular fleece lining, and this one is more like a thin polyester, e.g. description is not accurate. The size is very small, I am size 10 5'2, and this jacket size M was very small on me, the waist appeared on my hips, I guess it could be fine on a taller person.

Haven't worn it yet, plan to take it to Florida this winter.

The jacket is exactly what I wanted! Not too heavy, and not too light. Fits great and has nice features such as the drawstring at the bottom edge.....keeps that wind from sneaking up my back!
