    Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
    I am short & tubby, 3X. My wife lifted up, sewed up inside both legs about 4" - which made these a great length. Improved insulation with this new 'double layer'. The internal gaitors still glasp the boots. You can't tell where the upsew is - but you can tell a short man with correct length snow pants. Pants are a bit baggy in the hips - but effortless to wear & walk in.

    Columbia is only company I know of that has stuff to fit big and tall. too bad they are PIA to deal with directly. Not highest tech but good reliable stuff.
