It also helps that you look stylish while wearing them. The sizes are true to fit. So pick your actual size or you'll be exchanging them.

Trying to find functional and stylish pants on a budget can be tricky. I bought these in a few different colors because they are flattering and feminine, yet functional for camping, hiking, or just a long walk through the city. The pockets are nice for carrying minimal accessories, and the fabric is thin enough for a hot afternoon, yet thick enough for the morning spring chill. The stitching is reinforced well so there's been no unraveling or stray strings hanging anywhere, and trust me, the things that happen on any given day with my four kids has put these pants to the test! Nice with sandals or hiking boots. Love them! And such a fabulous price on Sierra Trading Post!

Reviewed by OncoDoc from SLC, Utah on Wednesday, January 23, 2013...and again, another pair of Columbia pants that will go back. Low quality fabric, faded color and extremly poor fit. As always sizes are off and one has to start memorizing how ones size translates into the Columbia fit-ahhh, annoying. This brand seems to be spiraling down towards the chepo outdoor brand, which is OK, you just gotta be aware, if that's something you are hunting for. I am sure these pants will do the job for someone else.
