They were both on the curvy side, with a very big waistline. The 1X fitted them perfectly. They were very happy since they couldn't find many jackets that fit them well in Taiwan. The jackets were a godsend to them!

I am 5'3" and it fits perfect, even the sleeves. It might not fit as well on a very tall person. I always buy one size up for extra layering. The red is vibrant and I love the grey interior jacket that can be used as both a liner or on its own.
