    No, I would not recommend this to a friend
    The mittens are sylish. However, they don't keep my hands warm, I allowed my kids to take off with the other warmer pairs of mittens, which is why I bought these. Columbia usually makes warm clothes and outer gear which is why I tried this product. If someone were to purchase this product I would suggest buying a lining to keep your hands warm along with the hand warmers.
