Columbia Sportswear Ashland Hills Jeans (For Women)

When you want to wear jeans but look a bit more dressy, these pants are great. The denim is very light weight so these pants could be used for travel and will work well in summer. They really have more of a wide leg look but I think that makes them dressier. I had them shorted and had the waist taken in but these are still a bargain and will work well for lots of social events. Throw on a blazer and I can even wear these to work!

These Columbia jeans are a great bargain! Perfect medium-blue (not too dark, not too light) with a "trouser" style that make them office-appropriate for casual Fridays. Fit is generous without being baggy.

I thought that these pants were lovely, but they ran a little big. I ended up having to return them. I did contemplate having them tailored, but decided the cost would not be worth it. I was looking for a pair of more "dressy" jeans. I really liked the dark wash and straight leg on these pants. They would have gone well with a cute pair of heels.

This is a great, trouser-style jean. It's a nice dark wash and a dressy, wide-leg cut. The only reason I didn't give it five stars is because it runs a little big in the waist. For other shoppers, I would say I usually wear either an 8 or a 10 in pants, and I have a curvier build with a smallish waist and larger hips. The size 10 fit nicely on the hip, but it's a little large on the waist. I just added a belt and it's fine, but a tailor might be able to nip in the waist as well. Overall, it's a very flattering item.

Disappointed in this. Always felt I could count on Columbia name to represent quality product.

The other reviewers weren't as thrilled with the cut of the leg on these pants but they worked great for my body type; curvy figure with "thunder thighs". Lightweight denim is perfect for summer. I was pleasantly surprised at how much I love these jeans.

These are great looking, comfortable jeans. I usually find pants that fit well through the hips and thighs are much too big in the waist - these are perfectly cut for an hourglass figure. The dark wash, slightly low waist, and straight leg are very flattering. They are too long to wear with flats, but look great with a wedge or heel. I'm going to order more while they last.

I returned these pants. They were too big overall and the "straight legs" were just huge. I wish leg opening measurements were included in garment descriptions.
