Columbia Sportswear Ashtanga Skirt (For Women)

Wow - what a great fit! Nice fabric weight with a bit of stretch, this skirt is an easy summertime piece. The ruched waistband is very flattering, and can be worn low or high on the hips to control coverage and length. I noticed the tag called this the "long" length, and it hits me a bit below the knee (I am 5'7"). Could be hemmed if you wanted it shorter. The skirt is overall so comfortable and attractive, I will wear it as much as possible.

Somehow I missed from the product description that this is actually a very heavy-weight knit skirt. Thus, it's stretchy and rather form-fitting, which I found a bit too snug through the hips for my taste. A very slim build might not have any problems. Otherwise, the color and quality are good, and it's not a bad style as long as you know what you're getting.

This skirt is advertised as an active wear skirt, but it looks great dressed up! It is very comfortable and looks great.

I'm in between sizes when buying Columbia-brand pants, sometimes fitting into an 8 and sometimes a 10. I ordered the size M in this skirt but I think the S would have been just fine. Even though it's slight too big, I just wear it on my hips, a bit more low-slung than was probably intended. Still, it's super cute on and wore beautifully - I got lots of compliments.

I love this skirt! Initially I borrowed the same skirt in brown from a friend. I loved it and was super excited to find the same skirt on STP (just in a different color). The fit is perfect for me, I am 5'6" and usually a size 4 in jeans...so size S worked good. The material is very comfortable. Not sure yet if it wrinkles easily but it doesn't seem like it would.
