    No, I would not recommend this to a friend
    I understand that companies are making sizes bigger so that women feel better about themselves but this is ridiculous. I've always fit a an XS but these pants were huge!! Not only that but these "knee pants that covered the knee on the picture were like long cut offs. They were about an inch above the knee.

    Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
    I bought 2 of these, one in small and one medium. I usually wear an 8-10. The small is good for long distances and the mediums are better for those puffy days when going less than 5 miles. There's no drawstring and they can ride down some during high impact activity or they run big - so only 4 stars. They do cover the the back nicely without being too high in the waist in front. Length is 16", just covering the knee on me.

    I am looking for longer running shorts and thought these would work. I figured if not for running at least to wear to the gym to work out. Alas, the crotch was so long I couldn't figure out how to make them work, so back they went.
