    No, I would not recommend this to a friend
    I wear a Medium and ordered that size. The fit was way too tight even allowing for the snug style while the sleeves were so long they covered my hands. I returned it for a refund as I felt the sleeves on a large would have been way too long for me. I was very disappointed as this shirt is not up to the usual Columbia standards.

    This long sleeve active top hits 3 key points, light weight moisture control, UPF 50 and most important... odor control. It has a tight compression fit so order a size larger. Sleeves tend to run long. A bit Star-Trekie in style. Great for paddling in warm temps with UV protection.

    It pays to read the reviews prior to purchase. I read the reviews regarding the shirt being a bit tight so I ordered an XXL instead of my usual XL. I am very pleased with the quality of the shirt and the fit is perfect. Not too tight and not too loose. If you workout or are physically fit this shirt is for you, just order a size larger than you normally order.
