“ALMOST a great jacket...”

“I wanted to love this coat. The fabric is silky, lightweight, and waterproof. The styling is pretty good, too. The problem is that it zips up the front and is then covered by a flap with big, hardy, ungainly snaps. You really can't leave it open because the flap and snaps look silly. Also, there are side cinching straps, which can be adjusted with snaps. Unfortunately, it's the same big, ugly snaps as in the front, so you can only really use the smallest adjustment. Last, the color, I do so love red, but I'm blond and I do best with cherry reds. This is a little more of a fire red with enough orange in it to look terrible on me. It was so close to great, but not close enough.”
